Andrew Anecdotes

He has been saying some really cute/funny things lately. First off he looks through this one Disney book that has a bunch of pictures of different characters in it and ask me where is "Luda"? Who? Again he kept saying "Luda, Luda" then he found "Luda" and would say here she is. Well, turns out that Luda is Mulan. No matter how many times I tell him that and make him say Mulan when he looks for her picture in the book she is Luda. He also won't believe me when I tell him "Ping" (Mulan's boy name) is a girl and really Mulan. He says "no that's a boy".

I have also been telling him lately that he is sneaky and he replies back "I'm not sneaky, skunks are sneaky". LOL I also called him a cutie or something like that and he told me "I'm not a cutie, I'm a boy".

He is also getting really excited for his birthday. He knows a lot of friends who have birthdays around the same time. Not to mention that all the kids in his MDO class have birthdays the last week of March of first week in April. Every morning (or every party we go to) he asks me "is it my birthday?" and when I tell him no he gets really sad. Then he goes on to talk about the eggs for his party. We are doing an Easter egg hunt since his birthday is so close to Easter. He is sure he is getting golf clubs for his birthday and if anyone asks what he wants, he tells them clubs. It's a good thing Grandma Patsy and Grandad are getting him a set.

Another "funny" thing he has been doing ( and this is proof that he is all boy) is when I put him up on his changing table in his room to get dressed, he aims himself at me and tells me that he is going to pee on me. But this is how is sounds "IIIII'mmmmm goingggggg to PEEEEEEEEEE on YYYOOOOUUU!!!!!". Then of course he laughs like that is the funniest thing in the world. BOYS!

Andrew Anecdotes

I haven't written any of Andrew's funny stories in a while so, here are a few. First off, he is definitely turning 3. Even though he isn't "bad", I will say that 3 is definitely going to be more challenging than 2. We never did the "terrible twos", but he may make up for it this year. He just thinks not listening is funny. Just ask him, he tells me all the time (while he is getting in trouble) that "I'm funny". Every time he does something naughty he has the world's biggest grin on his face (cue evil laugh). I tell him, "it's not funny" and he tells me "yes it is". That's his other new thing, a bit of back talk. He really could careless that he is going to get in trouble. I think he thinks it is totally worth it. Hmmmm....who does that remind me of????? Marc. They both think it is funny to make mommy mad. He also decided that he is going to stay awake talking and making noises in his bed until 12 am. We listened in on him the other night and he was pretending to talk on the phone, then he would make vibrating lip noises for a while then talk about going golfing among other things.

Andrew also told me the other day while he was wrestling around with the dog, "Bruce is my best friend" then gave him a big hug. It was so cute. He also thinks that every time Marc goes to work that he is golfing. That is partly my fault. There for a while when Marc would golf Andrew would cry to go too and I eventually started telling him when he asked that daddy was at work. Turns out he wasn't deceived. Now when he asks me "Where's Daddy?" and I tell him "at work" Andrew replies "He's golfing? I want to go golfing too".

Now when I hold him and tell him "he's my baby", he tells me "I'm not a baby, I'm a kid" and he totally is. It seems hard to believe that he will be turning 3 in just a couple of weeks. Where did the time go? I mean jeez, the kid almost beat me at bowling. He did have the bumpers, but he insisted on rolling the 6 lbs. bowling ball himself and scored a 65!

New Curtains

The other day I put up some curtains while Andrew was taking a nap when he came down stairs he stopped on the landing and said "Hey! Look at that! Where did it come from?". It was cute. Then I wanted to take a picture to show the family in EP and Andrew insisted on being in the picture. Then he wanted to take a picture of me. I think he did a pretty good job.

This is the picture Andrew took of me. I did crop it a bit, but not much.

Andrew Anecdotes ~ "Take a Picture of My Feet"

In my preparations for our fancy evening out I took a picture of my shoes (on me feet) to send to my mom. Well, after I had, Andrew said "take a picture of my feet too mommy". So, I did and it came out cute.

This is the picture I took that prompted Andrew to get a picture of his feet too.

Here is the picture of his feet

Then he just had to try mommy's shoes on too. After Marc saw this he told me "first he is singing Mama Mia songs and now he is wearing heels. Hmmmm...."
