I don't know if you have noticed all the butterflies lately, well I have. It really started yesterday when I was at StrollerFit doing abs and this huge butterfly flew over the skylight. It was so big that at first I thought it was a weird bird. Then 4 more butterflies flew by in a big group, just as big. I couldn't help but smile. Then the rest of the day and today I keep seeing butterflies. They must be on their way to Mexico for the winter. It seems like the last few years I haven't seem that many butterflies and now I am seeing them everywhere, it is really nice.
A quick Andrew funny. Most of you know how much Andrew likes to play golf, well his new thing is that right before he hits the ball he says "SHHHHHHH!", then swings away. LOL
I forgot to post this originally, but poor Andrew slipped on the kitchen floor this morning and split his lip wide open. And wouldn't you know it, today is picture day at MDO. I really feel bad because it was sort of my fault. He was handing on my nightgown and when I turned it pulled him and that is when he slipped. It really bled a lot and he cried all morning. That is when I knew it really hurt him. I tried to check his teeth, but he really wouldn't let me get a good look. Poor baby!
Well, Andrew and I are going to go to El Paso tomorrow for about a week. I will try and post some while I am gone if I get a chance. We already have a fun, busy weekend planned. I probably won't be able to upload pictures until I get back though. So, I hope everyone has a good weekend.

Thursday Thoughts ~ Classic Disney
Andrew was watching something the other day on TV and it had the 3 little pigs and the big bad wolf. Well, he has been going on and on about the big bad wolf so, I remembered that I have a DVD of Disney's Silly Symphonies which I knew had some big bad wolf cartoons on it. He just loved them! Then that got me to thinking, you never see those cartoons on the Disney Channel anymore. When I was a kid that was all that was on there; classic Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy cartoons and so on. Including the Silly Symphonies, not to mention no commercials. It made me sad to think that Andrew probably will never see some of my most favorite cartoons; "Johnny Fedora and Alice Bluebonnet", "Susie the Little Blue Coupe", "From Disney Boys to Disney Girls" Valentines Special, just to name a few. However, when you go to a Disney theme park all those classic icons are all over the place yet the kids today probably have no idea what they are. :( Even sitting here I am thinking of all the cartoons I use to watch. To tell you the truth I am not that excited about some of the shows on the Disney Channel right now. Don't get me wrong, some of them we love, like the Little Einsteins, but so many of them are just not the same. The are missing that "magic" and innocence of the classics. I guess I will just have to increase my DVD collection. Oh well, just my random strange thought.

Thursday Thoughts
So my sister Kathrine and her family came to visit Andrew this week and he had a blast! He would call them all "the people". Every morning before he was fully awake he would ask "the people?" and I would tell him they are sleeping and then he would say "wake them up". He wanted "the people" to come everywhere with him even to go potty. He would be sitting on the potty and yell "come people, potty!". This morning they left before he woke up and of course he asked for "the people" and when I told him they were gone he he cried and wanted to go with them. After that I told him they were in El Paso with Grandma Patsy, he told me "see Grandma Passy (Patsy) too". It was so cute and he is going to miss them all sooooooo much.

We did a few things while they were here. Monday we tried to go to the science and history museum at Fair Park, but we went after Andrew's swim lesson and needless to say when we got there the museum was closing in 20 min. So, we at least go to see the last IMAX show of the day. Andrew sat through that pretty good. On Tuesday, everyone but Andrew went to Six Flags. The kids had a great time even though it was a little hot. Yesterday we went to the spray park and splashed in the water. Andrew had such a good time chasing the big kids around.
Now we are just getting ready for his Grandma Kate and Great Aunt Carol to arrive from Lubbock. They are going to be here for about 4 days. Yes, I know, a very busy week over here. At least this way, Andrew won't be as bored without all his cousins.

Thursday Thoughts
I was going through some pictures the other day and found one on my 28th birthday, when I was 8 months pregnant with Andrew. I about died at how thin I looked! I know some of you know that I am opposite of everyone else and lost weight while I was pregnant (morning sickness, the best diet), I just didn't realize how much different I looked. I am going to post this to help motivate me to "put the food down". I haven't been working real hard at it lately because first I was pregnant, then I wasn't, and now I have been trying again for a while. No more telling myself "why diet, when you are just going to get pregnant and have to stop", well 9 months later I think I should have just started the diet. I am currently the same weight I was when I got pregnant with Andrew, so I am hoping the following pictures will help me keep on track.
