I haven't written any of Andrew's funny stories in a while so, here are a few. First off, he is definitely turning 3. Even though he isn't "bad", I will say that 3 is definitely going to be more challenging than 2. We never did the "terrible twos", but he may make up for it this year. He just thinks not listening is funny. Just ask him, he tells me all the time (while he is getting in trouble) that "I'm funny". Every time he does something naughty he has the world's biggest grin on his face (cue evil laugh). I tell him, "it's not funny" and he tells me "yes it is". That's his other new thing, a bit of back talk. He really could careless that he is going to get in trouble. I think he thinks it is totally worth it. Hmmmm....who does that remind me of????? Marc. They both think it is funny to make mommy mad. He also decided that he is going to stay awake talking and making noises in his bed until 12 am. We listened in on him the other night and he was pretending to talk on the phone, then he would make vibrating lip noises for a while then talk about going golfing among other things.
Andrew also told me the other day while he was wrestling around with the dog, "Bruce is my best friend" then gave him a big hug. It was so cute. He also thinks that every time Marc goes to work that he is golfing. That is partly my fault. There for a while when Marc would golf Andrew would cry to go too and I eventually started telling him when he asked that daddy was at work. Turns out he wasn't deceived. Now when he asks me "Where's Daddy?" and I tell him "at work" Andrew replies "He's golfing? I want to go golfing too".
Now when I hold him and tell him "he's my baby", he tells me "I'm not a baby, I'm a kid" and he totally is. It seems hard to believe that he will be turning 3 in just a couple of weeks. Where did the time go? I mean jeez, the kid almost beat me at bowling. He did have the bumpers, but he insisted on rolling the 6 lbs. bowling ball himself and scored a 65!
