Friday Funnies ~ The Green Lizzard
The other day as I opened the door or the laundry room to go into the garage this pretty big green lizard ran into the laundry room and under the dryer. Well, Andrew just thought that was the greatest thing ever and told everybody, including me "mommy let this green lizard into the laundry room". I was just so sure that it would crawl under the door and be eaten by the dog or cats. Or worse, not be eaten, but be killed and I would have to clean up the mess. So for the next 24 hours Andrew would NOT shut up about the lizard. He even cried when I put him to bed because daddy was suppose to catch the lizard. I had told him that daddy better catch it when he got home. Andrew even tried to help by bringing daddy one of the nets from his Elefun game. Well, yesterday when Marc and I got back from lunch there was the lizard, in the middle of the laundry room. And wouldn't you know it, he ran back under the dryer. At least I knew he was still alive. So, later on I noticed Max sitting on the dryer looking intently at the boxes on the shelf. There he was, the green lizard. I then tried to catch him in a cup to rescue him from the cats. Man he was fast. So instead I decided to just move the whole box he was sitting on. It was this plastic box with handles on it. I was holding one of the handles and moving the box as slowly as possible, but when I took my other hand off the bottom to open the door the handle broke and box went crashing to the floor, practically crushing the poor lizard. As his life was lashing before his eyes, I am sure, he "let go" of his tail and ran into the garage. I was sure the little guy was dead, but he seemed ok. He did however get his revenge. After I got home from picking up Andrew I was walking back to the car to get my stuff when something ran over my foot, from behind. I saw our little green lizard glaring at me from under my car. I mean it was a total sneak attack. He came from nowhere and there is a lot of room in the garage and he just happened to run over my foot? I don't think so. ;)

Andrew Anecdotes
Lately, to stall at bed time Andrew keeps asking for a hug then a kiss, then another, then another and so on. I started telling him "ok, no more hugs, no more kisses". Well, the last few times he gives me a hug and a kiss then tells me "ok, no more hugs, no more kisses". Then I kind of felt bad so now I tell him no more until he wakes up and he have as many hugs and kisses as he wants.
Not sure if I have posted already about how he has been pushing his limits lately? I have tried everything, rewards, punishments, ignoring him so on. The last time he got in trouble I was telling him that I don't want him to get in trouble, but he has to listen. This is what he told me: "but I don't want to listen. I want to do what I want.". Oh man, I am in for it.

Weekend Window ~ Boating
This weekend we went boating with some friends. Andrew had a blast. He loved it when the boat would go fast and kept asking to go faster. He and daddy also got to ride in a tube that was dragged behind the boat, sort of like water skiing. Andrew loved it. Don't worry, even though you can't see him, Marc is hanging on the back of the tube while Andrew was on it.
We also got a visit from my sister and her family. It is funny because Andrew called my other sister's family "The People" and this sister's family "My Friends". It took him nearly the entire time there were here before he could/would remember their names. He kept calling all of them Jennifer. LOL! Earlier in the week we went to Six Flags and he LOVED it! He wanted to ride everything and was sad when he was too short. The kid has no fear!!! We also went to Hurricane Harbor on a different day. He had a good time there too, but the water was FREEZING!!!!!! Needless to say my sister and I took all the really little ones home early. I think he would of had a better time if the water had been warmer. (I don't have any pictures of them together yet, but hopefully soon.) I forgot to add that all on his own he won 4 stuffed animals playing those carnival games!!!! I can't even win one of those!!!!
He is also a certified monkey. We went to a little friend's party at My Gym where they had like a gymnastics bar over the ball pit. Well, Andrew would stand on the side and jump to catch the bar in the air and then swing there for a few seconds. Man, that kid had the best hand-eye coordination. His timing was pretty much perfect. Speaking of which, he can now hit a baseball pitched to him (without using a Tee) almost every time. Grant it we are pretty close, but that isn't too bad for a 3 year old. He can also punt a football or soccer ball on his own now. That he must get from his father the soccer goalie. He just amazes me sometimes.
